Flying can be an exciting experience for some, but a frustrating ordeal for others. For one family of three—a mom, dad, and their daughter—a long flight turned unpleasant when a young boy seated behind their daughter began repeatedly kicking her seat. Despite complaints to the boy’s parents, the kicking continued.
Frustrated, the girl’s father decided to take action. He fully reclined his seat, directly inconveniencing the boy’s mother sitting behind him. When the parents objected and called a flight attendant, they were told the father had the right to recline his seat. Eventually, after a brief exchange, the boy stopped kicking. The father kept his seat reclined for an hour to drive the point home.
