As of Tuesday, the Blaze Pizza location on Vestal Parkway has been permanently closed.
The chain, which started in California, opened its Vestal location at 3714 Vestal Parkway East in 2018.
On Tuesday, a large PENSKE moving truck sat in front of the building, which sported a piece of paper reading “Permanently closed.” The windows of the building were also covered up.
Behind the restaurant, a Dave’s Hot Chicken Truck hinted at a possible next tenant for the building.
Dave’s Hot Chicken was founded in 2017 in a parking lot in East Hollywood, according to the company’s website. It has since expanded across the U.S. with a number of locations in New York state, including one in the Syracuse area.
The Dave’s Hot Chicken website currently does not list a Broome County location.
The menu at Dave’s Hot Chicken features a variety of chicken meals along with items like fries and shakes.
